Overview
One of the must-visit places in Dubai, is the Palm Jumeirah, a magnificent man-made island in the shape of a palm tree and is home to some of the most unique attractions in the city. The best way to explore the Palm Jumeirah is by taking the Monorail, which is both convenient and enjoyable.
To start your journey, head to the Gateway Station where you can park your car and hop on the monorail. You can also connect to the Dubai Tram from here. As you ride along, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Palm Jumeirah and beyond.
The next stop is the Al Ittihad Park station, which is home to various parks and offers a 3.2 km track for the fitness enthusiast. From here, you can also access the Golden Mile Galleria a shopping and dining destination, and Palm West Beach, which is one of Dubai's most beautiful beaches. Here, you can swim, relax, or rent an e-bike to explore the shoreline.
The Nakheel Mall Station is another exciting stop, as it provides access to The View at the Palm. This new observation deck offers a 360-degree view of the city's skyline and iconic landmarks like the Burj Al Arab and the Palm Jumeirah.
Finally, the last stop is the Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark Station, which is right by the entrance to the Middle East's number one aqua park. Here, you can enjoy various water activities such as snorkelling, diving, and even walking underwater. You can also explore Dubai's largest aquarium, The Lost Chambers, or meet friendly marine mammals at Dolphin Bay and Sea Lion Point.
